Olaf, Me, and Mumbai

I played tour guide a little yesterday with Olaf after we arrived in Mumbai. We got settled in at Nikhil and Rittu’s, had breakfast (poha, yum :)) and headed out to see the city. We first walked down the hill toward Kemp’s Corner, then took a cab to The Gateway of India. From there we meandered through Colaba, stopped for lunch at Indigo Deli, walked to Khala Goda, Fort, CST, over to the Metro Adlabs to see what was playing and then back to Malabar Hill. Perhaps because of all the time I have spent here, perhaps because of Nik and Rittu, perhaps because I love big, bustling cities — whatever the reason, I feel most at home in India in Mumbai. It is an amazing city.
