I’m back (I think)

Wow. The 10 day course was MUCH harder than I thought it would be, but not for the reasons I thought it would be. The silence and lack of reading, writing, and music — these things were actually pretty easy to deal with. The wandering mind, endurance, pain, aversions, and other stuff was much more difficult.

I will be writing a lengthy article over the next few days about my experiences at the vipassana retreat (or meditation boot camp as I call it). I just need to figure out whether it should have its own page (or category at least) and there was so much that happened, I really need time to collect my thoughts.
